About the Speaker
Dr Shyalle Kahawita is a consultant eye surgeon and physician with subspecialisation in glaucoma. Dr Kahawita currently holds a public appointment as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service. She is also involved in teaching and training medical students and ophthalmology registrars as a Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
