Dry Eye in Glaucoma

Dry eye disease is one of the most common eye conditions affecting people living with glaucoma and can have a significant impact on comfort, vision and quality of life. It may be caused or exacerbated by glaucoma medications, particularly when multiple eye drops are used over many years.

During our upcoming Live Q&A Event, Lisa Jansen, the Head of the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences at The University of Western Australia will explain what dry eye disease is, why it is so common in people with glaucoma, and how it can be recognised and diagnosed. She will also discuss the role of glaucoma medications, practical self-management strategies, and the range of treatments available to improve symptoms and support ongoing glaucoma care.
